As a young fencer growing up in Connecticut, I was frustrated with the lack of opportunity I was given to practice and play my sport locally. I felt it unfair that I had to travel such long distances to practice, while my friends were on various sports teams located in our hometown.

The Foil Club is a unique fencing center providing advanced training in the sport of modern foil fencing. Through group and individual instruction, athletes of all age and skill levels have a chance to practice, play, and compete in a safe, contemporary, and clean facility. The Foil Club will host Open Practice Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Open Practice provides both members and non-members the opportunity to compete against their peers in a supervised and encouraging environment, with elite instruction from a professional coaching staff.

The Foil Club was designed to enhance the training experience for everyone involved, from the athlete, coaching staff, and audience. Fencers will love training on our specially designed sport flooring, proven to alleviate stress on the ankles, knees and lower back. Our state-of-the-art computer and video services allow the coaching staff to track an athlete’s progress with the use of practice film. Team members will be able to keep score with the aide of our overhead scoring equipment. Family members and friends will be able to follow all of the action from the comfort and safety of our sideline bleachers.
